We picked Vogie out in April when he was only a few weeks old. He had to stay at the bird shop until he could eat whole food. We brought him home right before Memorial Day. He's quiet and pretty independent. He loves peas and loves it when I pet the back of his neck. He likes to stretch his wings and legs, too....what a cutie!

I spent Saturday at the beach. Here's what I saw.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We had a wonderful time in Jamaica and came back feeling a lot of gratitude for our own country (well.....and for tropical beaches) and high hopes of returning to Montego Bay soon.

Ryan and I took a two-day trip to San Francisco. The best part was driving back home on Highway 1. Incredible! I didn't know this kind of beauty existed in California.

We met my family in Southern Utah for a fall weekend of hiking in Zions National Park. The first day was beautiful and sunny, the second day was beautiful and stormy. :-) We had a great time!
